Thank you to everyone that came out and supported our very fun auction! It was a huge success.
Over 50 items were up for bid. I didn’t even get all of the items listed, people were so generous. So we will do something else in the future (another auction, raffle, something fun). Everything sold. Many items went for above the retail value, while other winning bidders got great deals on items that went for less.
The grand total of money raised for Penny was $4300.00! This will be an amazing help towards the mounting hospital bills and I’m sure Children’s Hospital thanks you, too.
The auction posts kind of take up the blog site for the moment, so if you want to just catch up on past mom & dad’s posts, click on “Family Updates” in the top navigation menu.
We have also received several very cool sports memorabilia items to auction. We will be listing these items on Ebay soon and will let you know when those are available. Items include a Joe Montana autographed football helmet and a John Wooden UCLA autographed basketball. There are also several rookie Topp’s cards including Wayne Gretzky and Tony Gwinn. So check back for details on that.
This morning, sweet Penelope is still hooked up to life support. They have tried to wean her off the ventilators a few times but she is unable to maintain healthy oxygen levels. I’m sure Aaron or Carina will be online soon to give you a rundown of the weekends events, but please continue to pray for Penny. Her first birthday is approaching and they we are hoping and praying hard that she will get to be home for her special day.
Thanks again for everyone’s support. We could not have done this without all your support and donations! THANK YOU!

YAY!! What a great outcome!!!
Congrats on raising such a fantastic amount for Penny and her family. I do hope that she can maintain healthy oxygen levels. Too bad I didn’t have the extra funds for the Keurig, I thought for sure I could beat out Tina on that!
